The Federal government recently introduced its budget, which includes a number of initiatives designed to cool down the housing market, including a ban on foreign buyers for two years, a new tax-free savings account for first-time buyers and stricter rules for people flipping homes.
These changes may have an effect on the housing markets in part of the country, but in such a highly desirable area as southern Ontario, the effect will be minimal. You can read more about that below!
